Comments closed but not
 

Hello,

I somehow dl a version Description: v. 2.21 - Many improvements since v. 2.01. this week. I had gone the normal route looking to pick up the Version: 3.4.9 because when I put the earlier verson on my WP is had got corrupted somehow.

This morning I noticed on the new version 2.21 that even though I don't allow comments it has in pots footer 'comment'..strange. I am not new to WP and know where and what I must do to prevent comments in the posts..

V.3.5.3 is fine. There is no other problems with the new version 2.21 in fact I have touched nothing, its installed in a heartbeat.

Are you saying you down loaded version 2.21 of AtHualpa?? Why would you install that if you already have 3.5.3?? Use 3.5.3 it is newer than 2.21

Well I normally have to mess, change things like bring in the sidebars but on my new dl I did'nt need to do a thing, it was all as I wanted it.

Well I removed the 'register button' so no one should be able to register, it just looks weird able to see comment. I like this theme.

You can go to the theme options (ato->edit post/page info items) and remove the comment from the footer
