Javascript fade in/out header image breaks rounded corners

Hi!

I love the Atahualpa theme and I'm just about to launch my new blog, and I have a problem. I am using rounded corners on my containers, and the corners of the header image are nicely rounded on the 3.5.3 version of the theme.
However, if I choose to fade these images in or out with javascript, the header image corners break the rounded corners and the image becomes a rectangle again and it looks weird :)

So I'm interested if there is any way to keep the corners of the header image rounded even when using the fade in/out function?

Thanks,
Thomas

The new jquery to do the fade causes issues. You should probably avoid it for now.
