translation problem
hello,
hello, I'm just using the atahualpa theme but i can not run the translation: I put it in the root of the theme (wp-content/themes/atahualpa) the following files: it_IT.po, it_IT.mo. my wp-config.php has: define ('WPLANG', 'it_IT'); despite this, the theme is in English .. there may be some conflict with the plugins? eg qtranslate? What should I check? Thanks in advance .. Stefano |
where did you get the it_IT.po, it_IT.mo files from?
What happens if you disable all your plugins? |
Hi,

I tried disabling all plugins but the result is the same ... :( I have taken the files from this link http://gidibao.net/wp-content/plugin...alpa-it_IT.zip but i also tried with files (po & mo) produced by me with poedit starting from the template atahualpa.pot (93 strings) below server status and the list of plugins on my site ... or teh text that shows up when you view the front end? |
Hi juggledad,
the problem is related only to the front end ... you can see the website at the following link: http://www.parcodelnera.it greetings |
Not everything is in the .po, some of the text is in the theme options:
The RSS text is in ATO->RSS Settings The 'Leave a Comment' is in ATO->Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS->FOOTER: xxxxxxxxx |
thank you juggledad,
very valuable information! I did not realize the customization of the post footer in ATO.. however, the problem of the file .po remains; for example, look at the link "Older entries >>" ... greetings |
