[SOLVED] Can't Access WP Admin after upgrade
I just upgraded to Atahualpa 3.4.6 and now I cannot access my admin section of my blog. The site is still live and running, but now I can no longer update my blog, change settings, etc... Any ideas where I should start? http://jon-horton.com/blog is my blog site. Just add /wp-admin after blog to get to admin and I get Page Not Found with the following listed as the address. http://jon-horton.com/wp-login.php?r...blog/wp-admin/

I think the URLs in your WP General setting are set to http://jon-horton.com instead of http://jon-horton.com/blog. You will need to change that in your MySQL Db or "hack" the wp-config file as mentioned here. This is a problem I had once.

did you do a manual or automatic upgrade? (ie did you FTP the new version up or have Wordpress do it for you?)

Larry - I did change one of the fields to just jon-horton.com and saved it. Once I realized the error, I changed to back to /blog but the damage was already done and the change back to the correct setting did not take. I do not see where in the confg.php file to change to the correct listing.
Juggle - I had Wordpress upgrade it. |
Got it back. I did have to edit the wp-config.php file and add 2 lines. One to designate site url and one to designate blog url.
Thanks for the quick help! |
