bfa_ata_ ... functions - Is there documentation? How to use them?

I'm relatively new to Atahualpa. I've tried to find documentation concerning the purpose and use of the bfa_ata_ functions on the add/edit post pages... Can you direct me?

what version are you using?
do you mean teh Atahualpa post options?

I misdirected... they're custom fields, not functions....

I'm using ata 3.4.6. On the edit/add post page, they are labeled "custom fields" such as: bfa_ata_body_title, bfa_ata_body_title_multi etc..

I've researched the forum trying to figure out what their function is... Why would I want to use them? What is each field's purpose? etc. I note I'm not the only one wondering ( http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=6579 )
