If it's not listed yet at WP, here's an alternative download link

  • Replaced preg_match_all with preg_replace_callback for 'date postinfo' so that multiple items can be used, /functions/bfa_postinfo.php, line 191-199
  • New function bfa_parse_date_callback, /functions/bfa_postinfo.php, line 17

You are the best guys...
Upgrading was very easy.

Thankyou.

There was a error that was spotted so Flynn fixed it and had to submit a new release to WordPrss.

Yes, both links are still pointing to version: 3.7.1

juggledad Dec 5, 2011 07:56 PM

go to the alternate link - at the bottom you will see a link called 'Atahualpa (452)' the number might change, that gets you to the bytesforall version.

Wordpress theme review is taking a looooong time and there is nothing to be done about it...unless some of you want to join the theme review team...

I was using 3.7.2, so, rather than doing the whole image shuffle, I just uploaded those changed files.

Where in the files of 3.7.3 are the places where it calls itself 3.7.3, so I can get the WP themes page to recognize that this is now 3.7.3? Just renaming the folder 3.7.3 doesn't do the trick. No biggie, just for housekeeping purposes later.

Style.CSS is the place

I'm upgrading from 3.4.4 and have a custom footer. Will I need to make changes within the code to regain my footer, and if so, what lines is the code in?

Thanks. Sorry if there's a process for this, I haven't updated in over a year and can't remember how it's done.

lmilesw Dec 11, 2011 09:53 PM

If you custom footer code is in the theme options it should move over unless it includes php code. The safest way to to upgrade is using the manual method which will allow you to switch between versions if something isn't right. See this post for manual update instructions.

Flur Dec 11, 2011 11:03 PM

Actually I have a custom footer as in - I donated and removed the Bytes for All link that can only be removed through the code.

How come updates have to overwrite my header? can't they not delete and not uplaod the stock pictures?

it's a WordPress thing - read HOWTO: upgrade Atahualpa to a new version

Okay thanks. Have to keep an eye on that next update, I almost missed it.

ferdi Dec 13, 2011 02:23 AM

Thanks for that new version - but im angry about cleaning out directorys.
Last 2 times my backup works, now not. Because of cleaning out header/image director all of my 6 images for rotating are gone. Its gone, deleted after update via Wordpress without a warning.

I know, problem sitting in front of the monitor - but why cant you make a folder "old_images"? If you can delete the old customized images you can do backup of that images.

juggledad Dec 13, 2011 04:18 AM

When you let WordPress do an automatic install, it deletes the entire theme folder. It is not under the control of the theme.

ferdi Dec 13, 2011 05:38 AM

Thats it? I did not say anything, sorry.

juggledad Dec 13, 2011 06:03 AM

?? not sure what your last post was about. Maybe this post will explain it better - HOWTO: upgrade Atahualpa to a new version

ferdi Dec 13, 2011 07:32 AM

I like to say sorry. Because i point that behavior to the theme.

Two questions:

1) I have updated Atahualpa to 3.7.3 few days ago, but today i'm watching an update on Wordpress admin panel, it seems that Wordpress dosn't see update is done. Simply we have to ignore it or what?

2) Is Atahualpa 3.7.3 Wordpress 3.3 ready?

Thanks.

I don't have the same issue - how did you do the original update?
What is the name of them folder (in the themes folder) is it in?
If it is not in a folder called 'atahualpa', do you have a folder called 'atahualpa'?
What version is that copy?

seeing how Atahualpa was released a few weeks ago and WP 3.3 came out today, there might be some things that come up

EnricoWP Dec 13, 2011 04:43 PM

I made update manually. I have a folder called "atahualpa373" (the actual theme) and the old folder "atahualpa". I have to delete old folder and renaming "atahualpa373" to "atahualpa"?

For the second question, i know atahualpa 3.7.3 is older, i'm just try to know if we can update wordpress or not, so i wait your announcement. ;)
