[SOLVED] Confused by comment colours - where do I change them, forms or comments?

Hiya, I'm working on this
http://www.ragbaby.co.uk/silent-sunday-21st-april-2013/
and I can't get the comments to show up with a dark background.
I've changed the colours in the comment section and played around with the form section in case but I'm missing something.
I just want them to have a dark background with pale text, the same for the bit that says '1 comment'
any clues appreciated.

Did you look at it with firebug?

I dont really understand firebug, sorry

Firebug is a very helpful tool and you need to learn it if you want to make custom changes
or
you can look at the source of the page and see the elements that make up the area involved, check out the classes and ID, then look through all the css on the the site to see what applies.

Firebug is much easier.

Do I have to do it through the css or can I do it through the Atahualpa options?

that means so little to me, sorry. I can do a little bit of css but really not that much, also I want to do this quickly because I'm really overstretched and the idea of learning another thing at the moment is just too much, though I am sure you are right.

Can I not do this at all through the Atahualpa options?

all sorted, I found it in the options under css, that was the only clue I needed :-)
