Adding 3 latest news items to the homepage
 

Hi there,

This is the site I'm working with: http://proportionfoundation.org/

What I'd like to do is, add the 3 latest posts from the 'News' category to the homepage, underneath the current homepage content.

Any suggestions on how I would accomplish this?

I'd add a new widget area into the 'Contents below the LOOP' option. You could put some php logic around it so it only shows on the home page. Then put a text widget with the code to get the posts you want or look for a widget that would do what you want and add it in.

Thanks very much for the replies folks... I'll investigate the widget option, sounds like a nice and simple solution.

I don't know what PHP logic is, but I'll jump that hurdle when I get to it :)
