Adding a background image to Atahualpa
Hello,
I am trying to add a background image to my Atahualpa theme. I have two issues here: 1) I don't know WordPress that well. 2) I know nothing about style sheets. The image name is Gateway_Arch.gif and it's stored in the atahualpa images folder. What and where do I tell WordPress to put this image as a background? Out of curiosity, how would I tell WordPress to have a different background for each page? Bill |
Start by doing a forum search where you should find several examples.

I did, but the one I remember I read was about adding two backgrounds, which mostly confused me. Right now, I need something simple and written for me:
"http://oneoleguy.com/gatewayliquidations/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/Gateway_Arch.jpg" is the file I want to use as my background. Can someone write the code for me to have atahualpa use it? As I said, I'm pretty inexperienced with WordPress and css style statements. I think that's where the code should go. I can edit the style.css but I just don't know what to put in it. Bill PS Shouldn't adding a background image be part of the configuration of atahualpa? |
look at the 'Body, Text & Links' options
