All in One SEO vs Platinum SEO

All in One SEO seems to be the preferred SEO plug-in however, I read in a thread that All in One SEO is no longer supported and that Platinum SEO is now the way to go. Does anyone have an opinion or feedback on this?

I read this also, but the reality is that it seems to have changed hands.

If you go to the originally developer's info page, he says that it is now supported by Michael at SemperFi.
