Recommend a paging plugin within categories
 

I am looking for a way to do page navigation between pages within a category.

I have several posts which have categories and I wish to have page navigation within each category. I am not interested in page navigation across all posts.

So for example, the category of "Dogs" has 5 posts. Page navigation would show pages 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 only. Page navigation would stop at the last post for the "Dog" category.

Can you recommend a plugin or some easy options?

Have you looked for or tried any plugins?

I have looked at WP-Paginate. I like the style but I am not sure if it meets my needs. Looks very simple but that could be good, it may perform fast. I would have to install it and try it out.

WP Visual Pagination looks great as well. Looks like it has all kind of options-do not know how it performs.

I have no experience with any page numbering plugin and was hoping someone who did could recommend one or give some advice.
