Upgrading from 3.5.1 to current version 3.7.24 help
 

Hello,

What is the best solution to upgrade to the current version of Atahualpa? We have been on the former for several years now and looking to upgrade if it's not a lot of work for a novice. We also may want to add some extra code to make their site a bit more mobile friendly. :)

We'd be willing to hire someone to help us if need be. (any refers?)

step 1 - make a FULL site backup - database and all files
step 2 - install it in a playsite so when you make the change it won't hurt anything is you screw up.
step 3 - update it in the play site
step 4 - test it in the play site
if everything looks good
step 5 update it in the original site.
step 6 - do another backup.
step 7 - go read thru teh thread How To make Atahualpa pass Google's 'Mobile-Friendly Test'
