[SOLVED] Just Updated Cannot add Media or Switch from Visual to Text View
 

I have the most recent WP and the most up to date Atahualpa.

I am redoing an older WP/Atahualpa website.

I can add and delete text, but that is pretty much it...nothing happens when I click add media and I cannot switch to text view.

Worst case scenario would be to upload media and copy the link and hand code the graphics, but what a pain!

I did reboot, with no success.

what happens if you swap to twenty twelve?
Hwho is the host?
How many plugins?
what happens if you disable them all?

could be a memory problem - ie you have run out of the avaliable memory on the server.

Rats. I should have done this first. Sorry. But up until now it worked just fine. I will check this out.

I would love to be able to say that I was hacked by an evil foreign spy entity. Or, I had a home invasion and the thieves threw me to the floor and added flawed plugins to my website.

Alas, I cannot. I started by deleting plugins that I no longer need and SUDDENLY this appeared in red on the top:

The plugin event-calendar-3-for-php-53/eventcalendar3.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

I am now going to sit facing the corner for a half an hour in utter shame.
