[SOLVED] Problems with any lightbo2 plugin
 

Hi everybody! ;)

Since yesterday my images don't open with lightbox plugins anymore. It suddenly stopped working.

Is there a problem with jquery or something? I tried a different theme and everything worked fine. Just with atahualpa my images won't open with lightbox.

I'm using the lightbox 2 plugin but tried different plugins when I realized it stopped working. None of them worked with atahualpa.

That's very sad...

So...what changed on your site? Did you upgrade anything? Add anything in...a new plugin, post??

Nothing changed before Lightbox stopped working for me.

That's why I think it has something to do with 3rd part libraries.

I'm using a plugin which tries to use the original jquery libraries rather than the wordpress libraries.

So I deactivated "Use google libraries" but no success.

Sorry, but if nothing changed, things would still work the way the did. Something changed, be it an automatic update of a plugin or wordpress or the library a plugin uses or even some new maintenance your host applied. Something changed, the trick is finding out what.

So swap to twenty twelve and see if it is still an issue
Deactivate ALL plugins except the one at the same time.

Install a playground site as a new install and see if it works.

Divide the issue into pieces to find out what changed/causes the issue.

Okay. I did the windows solution:

I uninstalled Atahualpa and installed it again. You'll never guess: It was finally working. The mistake seems to sit in front of the pc. ;)

I know that I did some changes to some files, but I do not know which changes I did. I'm very sorry that I've stolen your time. ...but Atahualpa is very important to me. I love that theme. ;)
