Header rotation fix - can I implement just that???

I would love to have the header rotate in www.manniche.org
I can see that if I upgrade, it is fixed.

"DONE: Add Javascript Rotation back in which went lost in the rather big upgrade to version 3.4"

But as I use atahualpa with wpml multilanguage implemented - I would rather not upgrade all.
If I knew where the fix is - I could implement just that, not spoiling what I just made. My first attempt - with a lot of sweath.
