I also get a whitescreen!.
I tried to set up an new page with the Atahualpa 3.6.0 without succes.
And I have cleaned the cache in Firefox and Explorer: still white screen.
I have tried with Atahualpa 3.5.3 and there is no problem with that version.

I have tried to edit the header.php and css.php but the screen is still white.

I've just tried it too but it's still doesn't work.

I put "<?php global $templateURI, $homeURL; ?>" in header.php just after <head> and "<?php global $templateURI; ?>" in the first line in css.php. Is it the correct place for <?php global $templateURI, $homeURL; ?> ??? or i have to put it in the first first line in header.php?

i'm still on 3.4.9 release for now

dams83 - these changes are for 3.6 and they are the very first lines of each of those files.

Anders - you seem to ave the environment issue that we are still trying to track down - some sites work fine others have issued. I'd suggest manually on installing 353 for now
you can get 353 -> http://wordpress.bytesforall.com/?p=94
manual install instructions -> http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=8520

Hi! I'm new to this forum!

I had the same problem upgrading from 3.4.9 to 3.6, except for one element: I have a black page instead of a blank one (my background color). The curios fact was that I obtained it on the internet server! The tests I did on my local server went everything fine! When I tried to have a look at the preview of the site with the new themes on the internet server (www.netsons.org) it gave me a black page, and when I activated the new version I had a confirm it wasn't only a preview issue!

If this can help...
