footer not loading on HOME page
 

I added 4 widget areas in my footer.php file. It worked well as I continued to modify everything else. All of a sudden the footer was gone. Not on all the pages, just the home page. This is strange, right? I'm not using any sidebars just custom widget areas under the loop on the home page and in the footer throughout the site. I also do not post copying form word.

I would take the widget areas out of footer.php and put them in the Footer Content box in Style and Edit FOOTERS. I try to avoid editing the theme files directly in Atahualpa that way if I ever upgrade to a new version I don't have to remember all the changes I made to the various files.

Thanks a bunch. I didn't consider what would happen when upgrading so I guess placing it in the Style and Edit FOOTERS area is a much better Idea.

As far as the problem I had: I managed to get the footer to load by turning on the right sidebar in
