Custom navigation, help needed
 

I am currently in the process of coding a html layout into the 'atahualpa theme'. I was wondering if anyone could be of assistance. I am attempting to insert the navigation from the left side of the html site to my left sidebar in wordpress.

Does anyone know of any widgets, techniques etc that will allow me to do this?

You could create a wide left sidebar and then use the Spectacu.la Page widget to build the content and add it to the sidebar.

You could use just straight html in a test widget if you like.

As in I could take the HTML from the original page created in dreamweaver?

That might be pushing it. I would need to see the html you are talking about. The original page would also have CSS applied etc so while the html "might" work you would most likely have to style it.

Yeah, this is true. Really not so sure about how to get around this. I have activated the plug-in and notice a 'Spectacu.la Discussion' section in my admin sidebar. Would the navigation be built through these options?

It sounds like you installed the Spectacu.la Discussion widget. You need the Spectacu.la Page Widget

Ahh, so I did. Downloading page widget now...

Ok, downloaded. I have had a play around though can't seem to workout to use the straight html as test widget. Tbh, I am not too sure what this means.

The sample page is currently activated in my left sidebar though can't get my head around what to do next.
