[SOLVED] Sample text widget on left menu
 

Just installed 3.6.1

Placed a widget on right sidebar, and 3 appeared on left sidebar
Categories - was on right bar, but I like it better here - great
Archives - was on right bar, but I like it better here - Great - and
A sample text widget with the ubiquitous:
Etiam pulvinar consectetur dolor sed malesuada. Ut convallis euismod dolor nec pretium. Nunc ut tristique massa.
Nam sodales mi vitae dolor ullamcorper et vulputate enim accumsan. Morbi orci magna, tincidunt vitae molestie nec, molestie at mi. Nulla nulla lorem, suscipit in posuere in, interdum non magna.

How do I get rid of it?

Add your own and the defaults go away

Thanks for the tip. Never knew the solution to this 'problem' is so simple. I racked my brains over this for hours. Wish I had the wisdom to visit this forum first. :o
