[SOLVED] Footer Transparent over sidebars?

1 Attachment(s)
I would like my footer to be transparent.

I have image bckgrds in the Layout container, left sidebar and left inner sidebar. (No right sidebar)

I have the footer spec'd for transparent in the "footer style". I have images in the footer content.

The "Footer Image" shows on top of the "Layout Container" image the way it should, but where it goes over the sidebars, footer bckgrd is white.

I'm working on a local server but have attached a screengrab...

thanks

What is the code you used for the footer image?

<img src="http://localhost/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Footer1.png" width="112" height="144">

The sidebars end at the top of the footer.
The page is made up of a table with therefore. The header is the first row, the middle area is the second row and the footer is the bthird row. The middle row contains the sidecars and center area and they do not extend into the footer.

OK JD, I see how that makes sense. Except why do I NOT get the white box over my "Layout container" then. Wouldn't that be in the middle row?

It might be the styling you have set for those areas.

So there is no way to get the Sidebar bckgrd image to show all the way to the bottom of the site?

You could make your own footer by adding a div with the footer contents in ATO>Style & edit Center Column>Contents below the loop. You won't be able to use the current-year or or other special code that you can use in the Footer content box but the sidebars will be on the sides.

Thanks Larry, that should work for what I'm doing.
