[SOLVED] Two menu bars. How to remove one of them?
I'm sure the fix is as simple as unchecking a box somewhere, but I've been trying for days but can't get rid of the menu bar under the header image.

look at your options ato->Style & edit HEADER AREA->Configure Header Area
I'm going to assume you have %logo %page-center %image %cat-center. I would also 'guess' you are using the new wordpress menu's and have set both 'menu 1' and 'menu 2' to the same menu. If this is the case, then just remove %cat-center. If it is not the case then I need to see the url to help you more or at least an export of the atahualpa settings |
I PMed you my URL.
I do have %page-center, but not %cat-center. In the dashboard I clicked on 'menus' under 'appearance' and from what I can tell I do not have any menus set-up there. |
go to ato->export/import settings and export your settings and attach them to a reply, you must have changed something in the options or theme code.
Also, at dashboard->settings->reading - what you have 'Front page displays' set to? |

sorry, yes, i got rid of the header image, and uploaded a logo in place of the site title and tagline. the two menus should still be present, though.

go to 'ATO->Style & edit HEADER AREA->Configure Header Area' and tell me what you have in the option.

What I had was
%logo %pages %page-center but i delete '%pages' and it got rid of the second menu. I could have sworn I had tried that already. Thanks. |
