styling pages menu in sidebar

I'm using the Pages widget to display my pages in the left sidebar.
Can anybody offer any advise for styling the Pages widget?
In particular, I'd like to use Times and add some padding to the top and bottom of each li

use FireBug in Firefox tolocate the ID's/classes that are assigned, code some CSS and put it in the CSS Inserts option
