Fatal error: Maximum execution time...
 

I've hit a wall... :confused:

I get an error message that seems to appear only when clicking a tag in the left sidebar.

I've tried several times, and there are variations:

What does this mean??

looks like your timing out in what you are trying to do. Disable all plugins and then add them in one at a time to find the culprit

I had this problem with one particular host. Once my client switched to another host the issue went away.

I've tried deactivating the plugins, but the errors still occur.

It's very irritating :( And if it's my webhost I guess there's nothing I can do?

Why does it happen only with some pages, like clicking a blog tag?

do this, remove all the widgets in the left sidebar and see what happens to your load time

I haven't edited any of those listed php-files. If it's relevant I've only made changes to those which involve the comments, and the main css.php.

Because of the way this theme is built changing theme files and css.php is not recommended. I have rarely seen a situation where you need to edit those files as all can be done withing the theme options. One exception being bugs in the code.j

I would take out the edits to the theme files and see if you still get the time outs.

Ok I did that. I uploaded the original Atahualpha353 files with FTP. :)

I still get those bugging errors! o_O

Then I suspect it is related to a plugin or plugins, your host, or a combination those two.

This is weird...

I switched to the Atahualpa theme (not 3.5.3) and everything seems to be working just fine! No errors or anything. :)
