Right hand sidebar disappears in ie on home page

Hi team,

I'm finding that the R/H sidebar blanks out when you first get to the http://secretaura.com
but is fine when you select any posts.
Once you select 'home' the sidebar disappears again.

This only happens in ie, all other popular browsers are fine. Is there a setting to sort this problem, please?

Not sure if this helps but ie7 shows these errors;

Line; 2
Char: 1
Error: Syntax error
Code: 0
URL: http://secretaura.com

Line; 770
Char: 1
Error: 'OneBit' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://secretaura.com

Hope someone can help.

You've pasted text from MS Word. When pasting from Word, paste into a text editor first to loose the Microsoft specific formatting tags, then copy from the text editor and paste into WP. Apply formatting inside the WP editor, if any

Ah, I've been using Microsoft 'Live Writer' which is supposed to support Wordpress themes.

Should I not use this tool?

Live Writer as such shouldn't be a problem, but you shouldn't copy text directly from Word and paste into your blog. If you pasted it into Live Writer first then that would mean that Live Writer did not remove the formatting as a plain text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++ would have.

The MS specific formatting was carried over to your blog along with the text, and that formatting breaks most web sites, not just this theme.

I have a similar problem, but the sidebar itself is missing in IE. (Not even a background color for the sidebar, the page background shows through.) The client swears they haven't used posts with MS Word formatting...Any ideas for a fix? www.outoftheboxonline.com

is this sidebar excluded for that page by any chance?
