Some Excerpts showing images, some (very similar posts) not. Can't work out why.

Best explained by looking at page:

http://design.kitchensatlanta.com/ca...ods-and-vents/

First post has an image in the body of the post which doesn't show on the excerpts list page here. However, other posts with images show the image on this page. Scroll down to see examples.

Don't strip these tags set to

(but this shouldn't matter as some images are showing and some not).

Excerpt length set to 55 (although setting it to 500 didn't make a difference).

did you try disabling ALL plugins to see if there is a relationship?

I did, no effect, though.

On further testing I have established that if I copy the text of a post where the image shows up into (and overwriting the existing text) one where it doesn't show up, then the new post won't show the image.

However, if I copy the text of the non-image-showing post into a brand new post then the image shows up. I have left examples of old and new here, as before:

Same content, only the age of the posts is different.

Strange, no? I can't see any way around it unless I copy all the 'non-working' posts into new posts (a few hundred or so posts). Can you?

this is one where I'd have to get into your site and dig around to figure out what was happening. There could even be an issue with the DB if reposting the same text works.

Thank you for the offer. I will have a go myself first to see if I can identify a pattern, or maybe I will fiddle around with the database a bit too. If I have problem after all that I may get back on here and let you know. Thanks again anyway! :-)
