[SOLVED] Sidebars not showing on home/front page

I know this has been covered before but the fixes for this are not working for me.

The home page displays only the latest post, not posts.
The home page sidebars do not display.
When I click <older entries> the page displays perfectly with the correct sidebars and widgets.

In ATO I have:
  • re-saved header, footer, stye and config sidebars
  • checked sidebars display on:
In Customize I have:
  • checked front page displays current posts
  • Blog pages show at most 4 posts

In settings:
  • reading: front page displays your latest posts

The page source has the sidebar code in it.

it should look like this:
http://youvebeenvalidated.com/page/2/

What am I missing?

Thanks

Ata 3.7.13
WP 3.8.1

Do you have anything in the "Don't display sidebars on" in the theme options for sidebars?

step 1: disable ALL plugins.
Now what do you see?

I did have but I removed it. Didn't help.

I did. No change.

I see the sidebars on both pages now.

try setting the posts on that page to DRAFT one at a time and see what happens

The latest post had a video link in it. I removed the link
Code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://video.foxnews.com/v/embed.js?id=3235727214001&w=466&h=263"></script
and the sidebar came back.

congratulations on successfully debugging your issue. I'll mark this as solved (as the thread originator you can always reopen it in the future)
