Help tweaking my menu: No Background Color!!

ok well i managed to get rid of some of the issues. however i cannot seem to any kind of
'background-color:transparent;' to work for the menu items. futhermore, one of my menu options seems to be getting bumped to to the next line, for some strange reason.
again, any help is greatly appreciated.

What version of atahualpa and wordpress?
If 3.5.1 or higher go to ato->export/import settings and export your settings then attach then to a reply (use the paper clip icon)

I think I sorted the transparency issue, through some experimentation, although I dont quite understand it. And like i said one of the menu items is off kilter.

If you could point me in the right direction that would great. Out of interest, does most of the styling hapen in the CSS inserts section? I tried looking around for a manual or something, but I couldnt really find much.

are you sure you are on atahualpa 3.5.2? There was a change with the export/import code and your will only import with 3.4.9.

When you updated, did you do a manual or automatic update?

automatic afaik...
i just hit the update link form the dashboard. i installed pretty much everything (WP +AT 3) yesterday.. so im not exactly sure! :confused:

I had a look at the upgrade process, and it seems very complicated for me at the moment, me still very much being a WP newbie.

I am getting to grips with it though. Just having trouble with some very small things, ie. the menu being a bit off.

I have another question if anyone has a moment..
How would I go about adding a 'category' as a Navigation Link. For example, I would like the 'Concerts' menu link to actually link to http://laurakilty.ie/news/?cat=3 which is actually the category itself. at the moment the menu item just links to a blank page and I cant seem to find any details on how to change it.

I dont suppose you have a suggestion as to why one of my menu items keeps jumping to the next line.

like the 'contact' item there. each button is essentially 136px, but something its setting it off :confused:

edit: btw Ive updated to athualpa v 353 & WordPress 3.0.1.

It looks like Contact is just wrapping to the next line. If you use a little less padding that should fix it. Also using %page-center instead of %page-right might do the trick if that's what you did.
