SPACES REMOVED after punctuation in 3.6.7

I'm using 3.6.7 for my client's site, www.miningtheunconscious.org.

Despite all looking well in both the code and visual editor, the live site is removing or not displaying the spaces following commas, ampersands and so on, including in the navigation bar and page title (words that are typed in, not pasted from client copy).

I can't figure out why or how to fix it (for instance, retyping copy directly into the code view - not pasting; attempting to add extra spaces, making sure pasted copy is clean - but you'll see it in the footer, too...).

As ever, the code view in WP definitely doesn't show all code. I feel hamstrung! Anyone else encounter this and/or know the fix for it? I'm really not interested in going in and coding NBSPs all over the place...

I also posted this in the WP.org forum but have only encountered another user with the same problem - no answers.

Thanks!

Apply the three bug fixes for 3.6.7 in the New Versions and Updating thread. That issue is addressed with one of those fixes.

More specifically, I applied the fix called "Odd effects when 'CSS: Compress' = 'Yes' "

There are so many fixes necessary for this version. I just downloaded it today some 10 days after the fixes were announced. I'm rather surprised that all of the known fixes haven't placed in another update rather than obliging users to apply several fixes several manually.

To avoid late issues like this I don't upgrade until WP detects that a new version is available; that strategy didn't work this time.

Cheers

Will

What happens is that a theme is submitted to WordPress for review and in the mean time some of us are using it before it gets released and bugs are found. If you see bug fixes for a particular version and want to avoid bug fixes (for that version) you will need to wait until the next version shows at WordPress but I suspect there will always be bug fixes of one sort or the other. I have come to expect that with just about any piece of software.

First time this has happened to me on updating, but I'm THRILLED that the answer is here before I even found the problem. Thanks, guys! I recommend Atahualpa to anyone who mentions using Wordpress. :D

Yeah, I have the same problem. :( I get back to 3.6.4 and I'm expecting the problems will be fixed.

Actually the patchs have been available since July and a new version is in the works, but issues make there way into every piece of code. How many updates have you applied to windows or the Mac?
