[SOLVED] Image not showing in excerpt after bug fix
Hello,
I'm really liking this theme considering that this is the first time I am setting up a wordpress blog, so great work on the theme! Just a question though - I have implemented the bug fix for the excerpt by replacing the functions.php file. Prior to implementing the file, I had the don't strip this tag option as

, with the excerpt length set to 55. I had set the don't strip this tag option as I wanted to include the first image as part of my excerpt. The issue is that after I have implemented the bug fix, and after I have written an excerpt for a particular post, the image no longer appears in the excerpt - I think this is to do with the manual excerpt overriding the automatic one? Is there a way to include an image in a manual excerpt? Also is there a way to make the most recent post excerpt to be displayed in a bigger table than the older entries? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
what version of Atahualpa and WP?
What is your url showing an example? Is the entire image info in the first 55 words of the post? |
The version of Atahualpa is 3.4.4
URL: http://threewisepigs.zxq.net/ And the entire image info is: I don't think the word length of the image info would be an issue since there's not much space between the words? |
Sorry forgot to mention that the WP I'm using is 2.9

I just figured it out - I just copied the image link in the manual excerpt so now it works!
