Email Address Encoder - does not work in inserts
 

Hi

I use (among other) plugin Email Address Encoder. And it works as it should almost everywhere - it encodes email addresses so that they are not recognized in the page source code and thus not recognizable by spam bots.

The only place where I have noticed that it does not work, is in the Footer insert (it probably does not work in other inserts either, but I have no email addresses there - ergo...).

Does anyone know any workaround? I believe I cannot use antispambot function in the Footer either as PHP cannot be used.


It is a nice feature and I would even go so far to suggest to consider integrating it as a standard into the theme if possible. Just a suggestion.

I would look at the plugin settings. From a quick read of the plugins info it looks like you can add filters so that it will look in various areas. By default it looks in widgets etc.
