hover color is equal to background and disappears when hovering...look at:

GEEF EEN REACTIE...........AIRPLANES

In which section of the theme to change?
(eg #cc0000)

Try turning off the fading menus.

Found it...thanks for being my ear for today!
it's in the footer box links and footer box links hover in the style post & pages
change colors to 428ce7 vs cc0000
