Transparent menu bar with colored text?

Hello. I am currently running 3.4.9. URL is http://livingthebalancedlife.com. I am trying to make the menu bar transparent and the text another color than white. I actually found an answer in the forum to the transparency question, but the text is still white so you cannot see. How and where can I change the text color? Not the hover or link, but just at rest?

That would be in the menu settings in the theme options.
