Can I make the category tabs clickable to their own page?
 

This is probably pretty elementary...

Is it possible to make the tabs in the category menu clickable so it accesses its own page?

Basically, I'd like the category menu organized in such a way so that when you hover over them the drop-down menu shows all of the different articles/posts within that category. But I would also like the category tab itself link to its own page so that when clicked, it takes you to detailed article on the category.

Does this make sense?

The top level category menu can link to that category. The sub category menus will not link to individual posts as that could easily become unwieldy. Instead the sub menus go to sub cats. You can however build just about any permutation of a menu you like with the WordPress 3 menu system.
