Hikari Email Obfuscator search results - a slight disagreement

Site is using the above plugin to prevent all or some email harvesting
However - when using the search box or the series link in posts (partic. the search box) the results show the obfuscation code rather than the plugin working as it does elsewhere
For example -
search term is 'reuben'
first result 'Larry Evans' shows -
'Larry died on 15 November 2010 after complications arising from surgery. He was 78. The US grandmaster was best known in this country as a writer and player. He certainly contributed towards ‘My 60 Memorable Games (http://www NULL.amazon NULL.co NULL.uk/My-Memorable-Games-Bobby-Fischer/dp/190638830X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1289992538&sr=8-1)‘ by Bobby Fischer. He is credited with having written the introductions to the [...]'
