[SOLVED] HELP: how to hide entries from the home page

I need to hide some entries from the home page, but keep them visible everywhere else. I can't seem to find how to do this. The visibility editor only makes it public or private, etc. I want people to be able to see it, but it can't be on the front page.

How do I do this?

(it's a legal thing - we can't have political endorsements on the home page)

Give them a category of something like 'not-on-front-page' then put a test in ato->style &edit center column->the loop and we rap the entire 'The LOOP' in a php 'if' statement to test that you are not on the front page or on the front page but not in the category

Thank you for helping! I do not know how to write an if statement for this, though.

would it be for page-category? and then what would the command be for not putting it on the page?

Never mind, I found a tutorial to do what I wanted.

Thanks for your help, though!
