404 error

hello

I would like to set up a specific page, in french, for any 404 error.

My previous theme had a specific 404.php file but apparently Atahualpha has none

Up to now, people who arrive on my WP site with a wrong URL get this message:

At least, I would like to know where I can translate this sentence but in fact I would like to customize it with Google webmaster tools (google search script)

You can make a copy of index.php as 404.php and then edit that one. That text is at the bottom. You can edit/remove everything between <?php get_header(); ?> and <?php get_footer(); ?>
