Where is "ruthsarian_utilities.js"?

I recently upgraded from 3.3.3 to 3.4.4. Great job, Flynn! I was able to move some code from my old search.php or from index.php (to get category headlines) to the "Style & edit center column" options. So I won't have to manipulate those files with future atahualpa upgrades. Really great!

But there is one thing I don't understand: For 404 errors I use a file 404.php which generates an email to me when an error occurs. So I found out that there was a 404 error with the url "/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/js/ruthsarian_utilities.js".

1st: There is no such file in the folder "js".
2nd: Atahualpa is stored in folder "atahualpa344", so I don't understand where this url comes from...

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
upscho

ruthsarian_utilities.js should not be needed anymore and it is not included in the theme files anymore. Do you have a reference to that file anywhere (you shouldn't)?

I checked the whole MySQL database and also all files in the installation folder of wordpress (and all subfolders). The only occurence of "ruthsarian" was in file css.php in line 2105 which of course is quiet harmless.

So it seems that the url "wp-content/themes/atahualpa/js/ruthsarian_utilities.js" was called from the outside and not from the server. May be a spider, robot or whatever? What for? I don't know it.

I thought the ruthsarian thing could have the same cause as "iepngfix.php". I got a 404 email with an url to this file yesterday. After removing the lines in css.php as discribed in the BFA forum the error had gone.

Probably a spider/robot then. In an earlier Atahualpa version ruthsarian_utilities.js was referenced, and the spider is probably coming back to fetch that file again
