Managing different authors without creating multiple accounts
 

Hi,

I want to to be able to assign different values to the %author% that I can use in the post footer without creating multiple accounts in my wordpress installation. Ideally, I would like to have an extra field/box on each post page that would allow me to assign an author name for each post.

Any insight into this?
