Show Featured Image in Excerpt Posts on homepage

Hi, I want to show a Tumbnail (left aligned) of the Featured image of a post on my homepage: http://hosting.ber-art.nl

At this moment it only shows the 5 latest post without the tumbnail of the featured image.

Is this possible? How do I do this?
Thx!

I only see 1 post on your home page and it looks like you have a plugin displaying it.

Yes, I tried some plugins but these do not work :( is there a way to this without a plugin? Or do you know a plugin that works?

if I set the front page to display 5 posts
and go to the ATO excerpts options and say 'only display excerpts' on the home page
and I have a featured image assigned to the post

the images show up with no other work.

Sorry that was Dutch I mean under the last `Text`(content) so I have to tell on my homepage that I want to display 3 post with tumbnails somewhere. The pluginīs I used had a short code to place on the PAGE, but both pluginīs I tried did half work ...

You could build a page using the 'multi-column/custom query' template with the
'show_page_text' set to 'yes',
'number_of_columns' set to '1'
'custom_query ' set to status='published'
