Profile pic to bylines?

Is there a way to add profile pics to the author byline.

You could name them something like profile-[Author-ID].jpg and in the post info items use

HTML Code:

<img src="/path/to/images/profile-%author-id%.jpg" alt="%author%" />

Now would that 1 piece of code work for every author? (multiple author blog)

Since we are on the subject, I can't get authors/members pics to show up in their profile pages? (www.website.ca/?author=3)
