set a different background color for homepage only?
 

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how I can set a different background color for my homepage only. I know how to change the background color for the entire site, but is there a way that I can specify that I want #000001 background for my homepage only and then #C0C0C0 as the background for the rest of the pages? (by the way, I'm using version 3.3.3).

hey, it occurred to me that I'd also need to set the footer and color for background color for images differently on the homepage only as well, so if you know how I could do that in addition to setting the entire background color different for the homepage, please let me know. Thanks so much!

This plugin may be what you need:

you can set the background image/colour for individual pages and add CSS to it too.

(tho you can also do it via a CSS insert in the themes options)
