[SOLVED] editing footer -- question about code i'm using

i am trying to make my kicker on single post and multi post pages look like this

8.16.10 Category 1, Category 2 Comments

I am using the following code to do that:

%date('m.d.y')% %categories-linked(' , ')% %comments('Comments', 'Comments (1)', 'Comments (%)', 'Comments Closed')%

In the ATO Edit Post/Page Info Items, I have inserted that code in Footer Multipost, Footer Single Post and Footer Homepage. But nothing seems to be happening.

Do I have the code written wrong?

Any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ok. so i think it had something to do with super cache. i deactivated it and now it seems to be working. i don't understand why that is.

Super Cache allows for quicker load times. When you are editing, it's best to turn it off, and then turn it back on when your done so your visitors can load up your site quicker. :)

Warmly,

Velma
