[SOLVED] Easing Slider/Internet Explorer 7
On two of my recent Atahualpa-powered sites, I noticed that the Easing Slider plugin displays only half the image when using IE7. It's fine on every other browser, just this specific version of IE.
I contacted the plugin's developer and he suggested that it may be a CSS issue. I have another site that uses the Folio theme and it looks fine on IE7. The two sites are: www.slowfoodyolo.com www.rickmartinezdrums.com Here's what the developer told me: "In IE7 the images are only half inside the slider when looking at your site. This signifies a CSS issue to me. I'll look into it. I haven't updated the Easing Slider in quite a long time and plan to do so sometime after Christmas alongside a massive update to the paid version. Hopefully that will fix some issues. Until then, try make sure no CSS properties that may affect the slider are being applied to <li>, <ul> and <img> elements." On the Rick Martinez Drums site, Easing Slider is being called out using shortcode on the home page. On Slow Food Yolo, it was hard-coded in. |
Solved. I switched the CSS options to external and that did the trick.
