[SOLVED] Blockquote issue--is this a bug?
 

I've been trying and trying to change the style of my blockquotes.

This is what I have in the Style Blockquotes section:

color: #000066; padding: 1em; background: #0099cc; border: solid 2px #00CCCC;

The text color is correct on my blog, and I'm not sure what padding is, but the background color doesn't change no matter how I save, and it has a dashed border in the wrong color though I've put in solid.

I use Firefox, but it displays that way in IE too. Here is a page with a blockquote.

Is it a bug or have I messed up the formatting in a way I don't see? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

You have two background rules at ATO->Style BLOCKQUOTES->Blockquotes: Style
and the second one is "background: #99CC99;' (gren) and that one overrides the first.

Select the entire area and past it in a text document to see what is there or, in the bottor right corner you will see three slashes that can be used to resize the box - this is a wordpress feature and doesn't work for some people.

Oh, thank you so much! Wow! It seems so simple, but I'd never have figured that out on my own. Should have known it was me and not this wonderful theme.
