[SOLVED] Having trouble setting the font colour in 'Body, text & links'
Hi there,
Firstly I just want to say the Atahualpa theme is really fantastic, I'm glad I discovered it!! I'm having a problem setting the default font colour. Heres what I've got in the body style section: padding: 0; margin: 0; font-family: arial, verdana, tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 0.8em; color: #000000; background: transparent url(/pp/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/background-transp2.png) no-repeat center top; But for some reason the font inside the posts is white. My background is also white, so this is bad. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks in advance for any help! |
what version of Atahualpa?
What is your URL? Have you set anything at ATO->Style POSTS & PAGES? |
Atahualpa version is 3.4.4
URL: http://twh.net.au/pp/ You'll see theres text underneath the rotating image in the center column, but its not showing because its white-on-white. In the ATO > Style Posts & Pages, these are my settings: POST Container & POST Container: STICKY: background-color: #ffffff; margin: 0 0 30px 0; padding: 10px; KICKER Box background-color: #ffffff; HEADLINE Box background-color: #ffffff; HEADLINE Box: Text padding: 0; margin: 0; color: #ff9900; font-size: 1.9em; HEADLINE Box: Links padding: 0; margin: 0; color: #cc6633; BYLINE Box background-color: #ffffff; BODY Box background-color: #ffffff; FOOTER Box background-color: #ffffff; |
hello i 'm new here . setting font color, text body as well as links are really tough job.
:p |
Check your 'Center column style' - you have set 'color: #ffffff;' which changes the text color to white.

hi Juggledad,
Under the 'Center column style, I actually didn't have a color specified. So I added 'color: #000000;' and it has solved my problem :) Thanks for your help!! I'm confused though, because I thought the post text was controlled in the 'Body, Text & Links' section? |
the way it goes is use the color from
1) Style POSTS & PAGES->BODY Box first, if that is empty then 2) Style & edit CENTER COLUMN->Center column style and if that is empty 3) Body, Text & Links->Body Style |
That makes sense, thanks for clearing it up :)
