How do I keep new 3.6.4 install from importing prior settings?
I'd like to have multiple settings for various Atahualpa installations, to try out different configurations with users.
I've noticed that whenever I install a new version (even though I keep the folders named different), they always inherit the data/attributes. How do I keep them separate and is there a way to upgrade to a new version and specify which of the 3.6.X-1, 3.5.X-2 installations it inherits configurations from? Similarly, if I install 3.6.4 (or any version) can I do a "RESET" and have it just apply to that theme folder? Fred |
The theme settings are stored in the WordPress database. If you want different settings, I suggest you create a setting with a release and then export the settings.
As it is when you switch to the new version of the theme, you use the same settings |
