Changing font style/size in Post Heading Box: Text not working

I put the below under Appearance/atahualpa options/style posts & pages/headline box text, and nothing changed (after multiple refreshes).

padding: 0;
margin: 0;
font-family: verdana
font-weight: normal
font-size: 16px
font-color: #008080

Help! Thanks in advance!

'font-color: #008080' is invalid the correct syntax is 'color: #008080'
