Wordpress Themes - WP Forum at BFA - Colorizing the "read more"

Hello, and many thanks for the superb theme.

I would like to configure a separate colour for the "Continue reading" (read more tag). Although it says I can use html in the tag, the colour doesn't seem to change. I can add a right-arrow qoute and a space (as you can see at picturenose.com) with no problem, but when I try to colourize it, nothing seems to happen.

I have tried using the span and style attributes, both with colour names and hex. I have even tried the font color tag (ugh!). I have cleared my WP cache each time to ensure I haven't reloaded a cached page in error.

I'm certain I'm just doing something amazingly stupid, but if I change the link colour, naturally *all* links take that attribute, which is not what I need.

Any help or advice gratefully received!
