Link to Author Profile?
 

Is there a way to have the author name in posts to be a link to that author's user profile? I'm using Atahualpa 353 theme and I don't see a way.

Do you mean the wordpress user profile? so if I was a stranges, I could click their name and see the wordpress user screen for that user? Nope, however if you look at the 'Edit POST/PAGE INFO ITEMS' options page, there are lots of author info you canshow the reader.

My site has multiple/many authors. So I was looking for a way for the reader to get a little biographical info about each other. On the user profile page there is a field for describing oneself. I thought there might be a way to show that from the author link on a post.

How do I get to this page?

Is there a function to call up an particular author/user instead of the dynamic one. I would want to modify the footer with something like %author/user% to call up one particular user. Is there a shortcut to it?

The author of the post is the one that will show up.

I am thinkin thinking of a usage outside of a particular page. For example to list authors or on a page or to put a note in the footer.

Is there a %command% for the wp-reference implemented in atuhualpa that would enable me to call up any registered user at any given time?
