[SOLVED] PROBLEMS AFTER UPDATING WORDPRESS 3.01 and Atahualpa 3.5.3
 

Hi there.
I have a really weird problem.

We switched our 1&1 Hosting package to a 1&1 managed server, because of the script memory problem.
The migration to the server was going fine. After that i did a wordpress update to 3.01 and a theme update from 3.4.5 to 3.5.3

Everything seemed to be fine, pages loading fast everything in place ...
After Posting new feeds the nightmare started ... the last post took way to long to load, when clicking on it's permalink ( around 9 seconds! ) all others did load around 0.5 seconds !

After some time the complete blog didnt load anymore. The header was rendered and stopped on first menu item (menu1, horizontal) , after a minute or so the rest was rendered, but without widgets :confused: there was NO problem to go into the backend. everything was fine and fast there.

my first workaround was, to re-save any post or page. the site was loading complete again, but the last post had the same problem with long loading times. After some hours the site stopped again working.

I found out following now .. when the problem happens i need to switch back to a older atahulpa version , then back to 3.5.3 , resave any post/page and everything is fine, unless i do another post.

I hope someone can help me on this. the server is fine , i have other wp-sites running on it and some other cms too. the database is also fine, because i did complete new installation and imported the xml files not a db dump.

Of course does it load correct for now, because i did the 'workaround' as mentioned.

Do you have a caching plugin installed. If so you may want to deactivate it to see what happens.

I just ran the site in Firefox with firebug and it's showing an error
and the site took 1m 39s to load. I would fix the error and then look for error messages on the server

thanks juggledad. i fixed that gmaps error it came from events manager plugin.
you might have realised that the page loaded after 15 sec without the horizontal menu ( it stopped after first menu entry (AKTUELLES , the blog). all other widgets didnt load also. the only way to fix this is to resave any post . s i was thinking that the theme did wrong.

another weird problem is that some older posts take way too long to load (e.g. /?p=11095) takes over 6 seconds for 36 queries. i looked up the database table and can't see any strange things there.
